Broadway Camp: PIPPIN
’17 production is story of a young prince
Join the students of Broadway Camp as the 2017 summer program culminates in the production of Pippin. Pippin tells the story of a young prince who longs to find adventure, true happiness and fulfilment in his life. Will Pippin find that happiness in extraordinary endeavours or ordinary moments that happen every day?
Pippin has an infectiously unforgettable score from four-time Grammy winner, three-time Oscar winner and the musical theatre giant Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Children of Eden).
Proctors and Capital Repertory Theatre combine talents to deliver a summer opportunity that cannot be missed. Broadway professionals instruct students in every aspect of putting on a show on the MainStage of Proctors. This program gives students the skills and opportunities to hone their craft with Broadway professionals, all while preparing for a full-scale production at Proctors.
Broadway Camp runs July 10 – August 4. (Students MUST be available for all rehearsals, master classes, and performance dates.) Performances are 7 p.m. Aug. 4 and 2 p.m. & 7 p.m. Aug. 5.
