“Annie” Meet & Greet with Acting Academy
Our Acting Academy students will be performing “Annie Jr.” in May and to learn a little bit about the show, they not only had the chance to attend “Annie” while on the MainStage, two of the show’s leads came to take questions about being actors.
Acting Academy is an after-school program that fosters an environment where students are welcome to express themselves while learning about the world of theatre! Acting Academy strives to create a safe space for students to explore and expand their minds in a personal and professional manner while learning skills to use in and outside of the classroom.
It was an honor to meet these amazing actors and get to ask questions about how to prepare for their performances in May. Our students even learned how to tap into different emotions when you’re on stage. Miss Hannigan (Stefanie Londino) shared how she taps into that meaner energy when that’s not normally how she acts and Annie (Rainey Treviño) talked about how she makes herself cry on stage at every performance.
