The High School Theatre Festival is Back!
We’re thrilled to welcome schools once again to this dynamic, all-day event designed to immerse students in the world of theatre. Through engaging workshops and masterclasses, participants will explore both the performance and technical sides of theatre, gaining a deeper understanding of the creative processes that bring a production to life—on stage and behind the scenes.

New This Year:

  • Technical Theatre Day
    • A dedicated track for students interested in scenic art, props, and construction
    • Hands-on training with experienced professionals in backstage disciplines

In addition to exciting new offerings, we’re pleased to bring back popular sessions such as Acting through Song, Stage Make-Up, and Stage Combat, along with a new session on Modern Broadway Choreography.

At the Collaborative School of the Arts, we’re committed to providing unique, inspiring opportunities for students throughout the Capital Region and beyond. We look forward to your school joining us for this unforgettable celebration of theatre.

Cost: $500 per school

9 a.m. – 2 p.m. April 30, 2026 – Technical theatre day at the Collaborative Scene Shop
