HSMTA Student Orchestra Audition - Collaborative School of the Arts

As part of the High School Musical Theatre Awards, selected students will have the unique opportunity to collaborate in a live pit orchestra during the HSMTA ceremony. This hands-on experience allows young performers to sharpen their musical skills, gain real-world rehearsal and performance insight, and be an essential part of a fully produced awards show celebrating the Capital Region’s top high school talent.

Students from each qualifying school will have the opportunity to audition to join our pit orchestra for this year’s HSMTA ceremony that takes place May 8.

Participation in the pit orchestra is exclusively available to students from participating High School Musical Theatre Awards school programs, offering a rare chance to perform in a professional theatre setting alongside industry professionals.
