Registration opens Sept. 14, 2026

Proctors invites all public and private high schools in the greater Capital Region to apply to participate in the 2027 program.  Schools have the option to participate fully or in a hybrid spotlight participation. Schools who meet all eligibility criteria and whose completed applications are received by the Collaborative School of the Arts at Proctors will be guaranteed participation. Applications will be processed in the order in which they are received.

Full participation details

  • Feedback from theatre professionals  
  • Student orchestra opportunities  
  • 10 complimentary tickets to the ceremony

Spotlight participation details

  • Schools 2+ hours away who cannot fully commit due to distance 
  • Interested schools who cannot fully commit due to change in staff, a new program, and other special circumstances 
  • Lapsed schools of three years or more 
  • Schools with performance dates outside of adjudication period 
  • No participation fee 
  • 10 complimentary tickets to the ceremony 
  • One judge attending your performance to provide feedback; no scoring
  • No nominations or awards, but special recognition at the ceremony 
  • Student tech and orchestra opportunities  
  • Discounts at the Collaborative Scene Shop 
  • Recognition from community   
  • A rich theatre community  
  • Students perform on a Broadway stage  
  • Resources and relationships with other high school theatre program 
  • Scholarships to Collaborative School of the Arts programs 
  • Optional representative to perform in the opening and closing numbers on a Broadway stage
