MediaWorks
MediaWorks is an arts-in-education program designed to integrate media arts with common core curriculum to create new pathways for student success.
Proctors is changing the learning environment in Capital Region schools and offering workforce skills that will last far beyond graduation! Proctors will be working in partnership Schenectady School District to integrate media arts directly into the english classroom. Taking place in-person at Proctors, students will work with a professional media artist and a team teachers to develop and implement new learning pathways. Project-based learning perfectly overlaps with Common Core standards to offer a unique classroom experience designed to increase student engagement, attendance and success.
In the ever-evolving landscape of education, Proctors has endeavored to change how the twenty-first century classroom works to bolster student achievement and success.
